The FireCon lithium ion container
The FireCon lithium ion container has been specially developed for the storage or shipment of hazardous substances & high volume lithium-ion energy carriers following PGS15. The FireCon lithium-ion container was originally designed for Trip & Co supplying the MotoE World Cup for electric motorcycle racing, and part of the F.I.M. Grand Prix motorcycle racing season.
As a response to the demands of the regulators and the developments of the PGS37 we have been designing the most effective solutions for the containment of the most severe lithium-ion fires.Â
What a design
The FireCon lithium-ion container is the ideal solution for your protection system. This complete system guarantees the highest available protection without relying on external (energy) sources. It works standalone and can be individually adapted to the needs of our customers.
The FireCon lithium-ion container can be delivered with temperature and smoke release sensors or even with internal charging systems for energy storage systems.
Unique is the optional PCM system, an efficient solution that combines insulation value with temperature regulating benefits which can be integrated in the container.
Companies that produce products consisting lithium-ion batteries and other energy storage solutions now have a new way to protect and optimise their charging capabilities during storage or even during shipping. With the unique PCM temperature regulating benefits, all lithium-ion cells stay within the optimal temperature range.
The containers can be upgraded with patented SOC, a high temperature polymer coated fabric with double-sided fire resistance and a high pressure relief system.Â
